Divorce
Divorce is the legal process of ending a marriage. The process is started by filing a petition with the court, and it is finished when a judge signs the decree of divorce. Although, if the parties have minor children, they will continue to share legal obligations to care for and financially support their children, after they are divorced from each other.
-
Child Custody
When parents of minor children determine they will no longer live together, it becomes necessary to determine how in the future the parents will share the rights and responsibilities of parenting their children from separate households.
-
Child Support
Both parents have a legal and moral obligation to financially support their children according to their earning ability. Idaho has adopted Guidelines which are to be used in all cases where separated or divorced parents have minor children, to determine the amount of support to be paid by the parents.
-
Modification/Enforcement of Orders
Court orders regarding the custody and support of minor children can and should be modified when circumstances change such that the existing order no longer makes sense. Changes in employment, income, household composition, mental or physical health, children's needs, criminal activity, drug addictions, relocating residences, and many other changes may justify a modification.

Adoptions
We love handling adoption matters for our clients. These are joyous occasions. But because family formation is so important to the well being of individuals and society as a whole, adoptions are governed by strict and complicated legal requirements to protect the best interests of the children involved, and to make sure that all parties understand the rights and responsibilities that are being terminated on the one hand, and established on the other.Description goes here
